Girls Basketball
Sorry for such a long delay between the end of the Indians football season and the first post of the basketball season. Between my job and trying to do the games, its been kinda hectic. Considering that there are two teams (boys & girls) that I’d have to write on it gets confusing. Hedgesville
It’s been a long season for the Berkeley Springs Indians full of ups and downs. Coming off a season in which they made it to the second round of the state playoffs, it was a bit of a letdown as they struggled to a 3-6 record coming into the game against the Hedgesville Eagles. The Eagles themselves were having a down year as they had only recently picked up their first win the two weeks ago against Hampshire (they had their bye week 10/31). Manassas Park
The Cougars came back to Morgan Field this week as the ones from Manassas Park came to take on the Indians. It was the first meeting between the two schools. Last week, the Indians handled the Kettle Run Cougars to earn their second win of the season. This week, the Tribe would have to play their most defensive game of the year in trying to put together back-to-back wins. Keep reading →

Kettle Run
The Berkeley Springs Indians coming off a three game skid that saw them lose to Moorefield, Keyser, and Mountain Ridge (MD) by a combined score of 108-0. In fact, in 13 quarters, the Indians had failed to score a single point. This past Friday night, they had a reason to try and find the endzone. It was Homecoming at Berkeley Springs High School and the football team was hosting the 0-7 Kettle Run Cougars, a new high school in Nokesville,Va. Keep reading →
