South Hagerstown

Consistency. That’s all the Indians need to have. Against Clark County, the Berkeley Springs Indians didn’t have it. This Friday night against the South Hagerstown (MD) Rebels, the Tribe looked to bounce back from their embarrassing 45-0 loss to Clark County last week.

Friday was the first game of the season for the Berkeley Springs Indians. Hopes for the Indians are extremely high. Last season the Tribe finished a disappointing 3 and 7, including a three game streak that saw them get outscored 108-0, or 13 quarters without a point. August 28, 2009 was a chance to wipe that memory away.

Look ahead

Just wanted to put up a look ahead to football season…

We’re going to be able to do a little more when bringing you the Indians football games. We’ll be bringing you live play-by-play as usual, but also live updates on here (providing we can get a wireless signal from the providers in town) and also, if I can remember to actually do it, possibly have an IM type thing going on. That way we could do a trivia thing where someone can IM the response to us or possibly get a discussion going on during either pregame, halftime, or postgame. Right now everything is in the infancy stages seeing as I’m coming up with this stuff off the top of my head. Again, this is just in the infancy stages and things could change between now and football season.

Wrap up

I sit here listening to the Berkeley Springs/Lincoln game from Charleston and feel compelled to write this wrap up season. This season was an awesome season for the Lady Indians. It saw the emergence of two young players and it showed how well the team came together to work together.
